Physical Characteristics: These natural Quartz Crystals have a multi-color LED light shining into the crystal. The light fades from one color to the next, then flashes while cycling through the colors. Simply turn the top portion of the "cap" to activate the light. Powered by a small watch battery. The BATTERY IS INCLUDED, but a chain is NOT. Quartz is a silicon dioxide crystal with a hardness of 7. Quartz is piezoelectric--when pressure is applied it produces electromagnetic energy, and when electrical current is applied the crystal will oscillate. Quartz crystals have been harnessed in everyday items such as watches and cellular phones.
Metaphysical Properties: Quartz crystals are an energy amplifier, emitter, and channeler.
