Physical Characteristics: Agate that's been shaped and polished into an obelisk (a sacred geometry shape). Not suggested to store in direct sunlight. A variety of chalcedony in the quartz family, a silicon dioxide. Hardness of 7.
Metaphysical Properties: Agate has a lower frequency and therefore can be more subtle than other stones. It can be very useful in balancing energies and assisting with persistence and completion. It protects against negative energies. Agate obelisks are very good "altar" items.
