Physical Characteristics: Agate that's been sliced into a slab. Beautiful when backlit, but it's not suggested to store in direct sunlight. A variety of chalcedony in the quartz family, a silicon dioxide. Hardness of 7. Stand not included.
Metaphysical Properties: Agate has a lower frequency and therefore can be more subtle than other stones. It can be very useful in balancing energies and assisting with persistence and completion. It protects against negative energies.
