Physical Characteristics: This agate has dark and light bands that makes it look like the pattern on a zebra. It has been carved into an egg shape. Each egg has its own unique beauty! Agate is a variety of chalcedony in the quartz family, a silicon dioxide. Hardness of 7.
Metaphysical Properties: Agate has a lower frequency and therefore can be more subtle than other stones. It can be very useful in balancing energies and assisting with persistence and completion. It protects against negative energies. Agate eggs are very good "altar" items, though you'll need some sort of stand or ring if you want it to be upright.
