Physical Characteristics: Amethyst Merkabah Pendulum nestled in a wire "cage". It has a Quartz sphere on top and a Quartz point on the bottom. Amethyst belongs to the quartz family, a silicon dioxide. Hardness of 7. Color is derived from iron and aluminum in trace amounts, as well as some form of natural or man-made irradiation.
Metaphysical Properties: Amethyst is a stone of protection and cleansing. It is a stone of royalty and therefore has been used as a prosperity stone. It is said to have been one of the stones of the breastplate of the High Priest of the Israelites. Pendulums are often used to aid with "yes/no" and other binary decisions that can often become more accurate the more one practices with a specific pendulum. Hold the chain so that the pendulum hangs freely, but try not to move your hand. Ask the pendulum to show you which direction it will swing for the yes and no answers. With patience and practice, these pendulums may become helpful when faced with a choice, finding lost objects, and other situations where you'd like to get in touch with your intuition. Quartz is an amplifying stone, and will not only amplify the Amethyst properties but your own intuition as well!
