Physical Characteristics: A calcium phosphate mineral with a hardness of 5. Can have a wide variety of colors including yellow, olive green, white, purple, brown, blue, reddish-brown, or colorless. The name comes from a Greek word that means 'to deceive' because it is easy to mistake for other minerals. It is found in Burma, Madagascar, India, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Canada, Greenland, and the US. This blue Apatite comes from Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Metaphysical Properties: Blue Apatite is an excellent stone for activating the Third Eye, enhancing psychic abilities and perception. Assists with astral travel and/or lucid dreaming.
