Physical Characteristics: Box measures 1.5" x 1.5" x 3/4". A rare member of the Apatite group, a nesosilicate of calcium with sulfate and fluorine. Hardness is 4.5. Some pieces are fluorescent. Found in Russia and California in the U.S. This piece is from Crestmonte Quarry, Riverdale County, California.
