Physical Characteristics: A type of feldspar (sodium calcium aluminum silicate). Hardness of 6 to 6.5. Found in Canada, Madagascar, Mexico, Russia and the U.S. This stone will catch and play with light, flashing blue and green and sometimes other colors (fire). This piece is rough except on one face, which is polished to accentuate the fire. CAUTION: MAY CONTAIN ALUMINUM THAT COULD LEACH INTO WATER. Not recommended for elixirs.
