Physical Characteristics: An aluminum borosilicate.  Hardness of 7 to 7.5. Watermelon tourmaline has a green "rind" and a pink core. Found in Brazil and Africa. CAUTION: MAY CONTAIN ALUMINUM THAT COULD LEACH INTO WATER. Not recommended for elixirs.
