Physical Characteristics: Hiddenite is a variety of Spodumene, a lithium aluminum silicate mineral with a hardness of 6-7. It was originally found by W. E. Hidden in North Carolina in 1879. It can also be found in Madagascar, Brazil, and Burma. This Hiddenite is a pale greenish to aqua color, but it can also be yellow-green to emerald green.
Metaphysical Properties: Hiddenite connects one to Divine Love, allowing the user to both receive and give true love without the need to manipulate. It is a wonderful stone to dissolve blockages of the heart in relationships, as well as bringing gratitude and receptiveness to the gifts of the Divine. It is a stone of renewal, and is particularly useful in healing and recovering from abuse or addiction.
