Physical Characteristics: Sodium aluminum silicate with sulfur, chorine, and hydroxyl, along with inclusions of pyrite and white calcite. Hardness of 5 to 6. Quality specimens found in Afghanistan. Other locations include Chile and Russia. CAUTION: MAY CONTAIN PYRITE (WHICH CONTAINS SULFUR) THAT COULD LEACH INTO WATER. Not recommended for elixirs.
