Physical Characteristics: A zeolite mineral, Stilbite is a sodium calcium hydrous aluminum silicate. It has a hardness of 3.5 - 4. Stilbite often forms in radial tabular plates, and reminds us of bow-ties, especially the two-sided radial formations. Color can be white, yellow, pink, orange, red, and brown. It is found in India, Iceland, Scotland, and the Faeroe Islands.
