Physical Characteristics: Sugilite is a potassium sodium lithium iron manganese aluminum silicate and is fairly rare. It has a hardness of 6 to 6.5. It is somtimes found in Japan and Canada, but most comes from deep mines in the Kalahari region of south Africa. Some pieces have holes drilled through them and can be used as uniquely shaped beads. Total content weight of each bag is approximately 11 grams, measurements are the size of the bag.
Metaphysical Properties: Sugilite supposedly has great healing powers, and can bring a realization of the healthy mind, healthy body connection. It is said to open the chakras, flowing from the crown chakra to the base chakra and allowing movement of the Kundalini energy. It is especially effective for the heart chakra, and getting in touch with the perfection of the universe. It can help eliminate hostility, bringing forgiveness and acceptance to oneself and others. Held against the third eye during meditation, it can aid in the flow of information in a loving way and can bring peace to the user.
