Physical Characteristics: Yooperlites are a very recent discovery made in the upper pensinsula of Michigan, particularly on the shores of Lake Superior. We think we met the man that originally discovered and named them. They are a spectacularly fluorescent form of Sodalite. Quite ordinary looking under natural light, these babies light up like the cosmos under longwave UV light. Each set contains several Yooperlites in assorted sizes, as well as the rechargeable mini longwave 365 nm flashlight (USB cable included). There's even a small "bonus" Yooperlite (not shown in photos) included in the flashlight box as a special surprise! The measurements are those of the package, and the weight shown includes the weight of the stones, flashlight and USB cable.
Metaphysical Properties: Yooperlites are such a new find that we doubt any research has been done on the metaaphysical properties. If nothing else, they are such a surprise when illuminated by the UV light that they will absolutely delight anyone that sees them! There may be some information regarding metaphysical properties on the internet, but since we don't know if any of it has been verified we will err on the side of caution. These are the metaphysical properties of Sodalite. Sodalite is a stone of intellect. It helps with rationality and logic. It is an excellent stone when working with groups, encouraging companionship, trust, and mutual dependence. It can also help one to access the sacred laws of the universe.
